Da es gestern Abend ziemlich spät geworden ist, habe ich heute doch tatsächlich bis um 10 Uhr geschlafen! Ich zog mir eine Trainerhose über meinen Pyjama und ging direkt zum Frühstück, das mir Hicham wieder draussen an der Sonne servierte!

Because it got very late last night I indeed slept in until 10 am this morning! I put some trousers over my pyjama and went directly to the restaurant where Hicham once again served me breakfast outside in the sun!

Nachdem ich mich reisebereit gemacht hatte, machte ich mit Aziz und Hicham einen Rundgang durchs ganze Hotel um Fotos zu schiessen… danach kopierte ich sie für Abdelkader auf einen Stick – wie versprochen! Um 13 Uhr verabschiedete ich mich von meinen neuen Freunden und trat die ca. 250 km Richtung Norden nach Ouarzazate an.

After having prepared everything for departure, Aziz and Hicham showed me around the whole hotel and I took lots of pictures… thereafter I copied them on a memory stick for Abdelkader – as promised! At 1 pm I said goodbye to my new friends and took the road of about 250 km direction north to Ouarzazate. (Abdelkader: Thank you so much for everything! I enjoyed my stay with you and your lovely stuff a lot!)

Die Strecke entlang der Draa und den vielen Kasbahs war atemberaubend! Ich überquerte 3 Pässe, der höchste war Tizi-n-Tinififft (1660 m) und kam noch bei Tageslicht um 17:30 Uhr in Ouarzazarte an. Schon das erste Hotel, das ich mir anschaute, erfüllte meine Kiterien (privater, bewachter Parkplatz, geheizte Zimmer und WiFi): Das hübsche Hotel Riad-Tichka Salam (www.mahdsalam.com), gleich neben der Kasbah Taourirt, die ich morgen erkunden werde.

Ich machte es mir in meinen hübschen Zimmer gemütlich, bereitete die Fotos und den Bericht für meinen Blog vor, fand endlich Zeit um wieder einmal meine e-mails und sonstigen Nachrichten zu beantworten und surfte im Internet nach Hotels in Marrakech für die letzten 3 Nächte meines Marokko-Aufenthaltes…

The stretch along the Draa and the many Kasbahs was breathtaking! I crossed 3 passes; the highest was Tizi-n-Tinififft (1660 m) and arrived still with daylight at 5:30 pm at Ouarzazate. The first hotel I took a closer look fulfilled all my criteria (private, guarded parking, heated rooms and WiFi): The pretty Hotel Riad-Tichka Salam (www.mahdsalam.com), right next to the Kasbah Taourirt which I will explore tomorrow.

I installed myself in my pretty room, edited my photos, prepared my post of today, finally found time to answer my e-mails and other messages and surfed for hotels in Marrakech for my last 3 nights of my trip thought Morocco…

Ercole, Alessandro & Roberto, Hotel Riad-Tichka Salam, Ouarzazate

Um 20:30 Uhr ging ich ins Restaurant des Hotels um zu dinieren… war ich froh, dass ich nicht mehr weit gehen musste! Am Tisch nebenan waren Roberto, Alessandro und Ercole aus Italien… bald kamen wir ins Gespräch und fanden heraus, dass wir in Südamerika einige gemeinsame Erlebnisse gemacht hatten! Was für ein amüsanter Abend es war!

At 8:30 pm I went for dinner at the hotel restaurant… how glad I was that I hadn’t to go far anymore! At the table next to me there were Roberto, Alessandro and Ercole from Italy… soon we were in midst of interesting conversations and we found out that we had made similar adventures in South America! What an amusing evening it was!
