07.01.2013 Marrakech - Böju
Heute
Morgen kurz vor 5 Uhr erwachte ich vor meinem Wecker und liess mir ein schönes
heisses Bad ein in meiner coolen Badewanne. Eigentlich hatte ich das gestern
vorgehabt, aber nach der herrlichen Massage mit Arganöl wollte ich diese Kostbarkeit
nicht einfach wieder abwaschen!
Eine
Stunde später war ich bereit für die Abreise, Mustafa stand wie abgemacht vor
der Tür und half mir mit meinem Gepäck durch die engen Gassen. Beim Parkplatz
angekommen stand mein Auto frisch gewaschen bereit, ich beglich meine Schulden
und übergab Mustafa einen Sack voll meiner letzten Kleider. So bereitete ich
Mustafa eine grosse Freude und hatte gleichzeitig Platz all meine Einkäufe aus
Marokko in meinen Koffern zu verstauen! ; )
Es war
noch dunkel als ich losfuhr und es hatte kaum Verkehr unterwegs, so dass ich
zügig vorankam. Auf der Autobahn hielt ich zwei Mal an um mich mit Espressi
endgültig aufzuwecken und sah die Sonne langsam aufgehen, die das Land in all seiner
Pracht zeigte!
This morning just before 5 am I woke up before my alarm clock went off and I filled my cool bathtub with hot water. Actually that's what I intended to do yesterday evening but after my wonderful massage with Argan oil I didn't want to rinse off this treasure!
An hour later I was ready for, Mustafa was in front of the riad as agreed upon and helped me to transport my luggage through the narrow streets. Arrived at the parking lot my car was freshly washed, I paid my dues and gave a bag full of my last clothes to Mustafa. That's how I gave pleasure to Mustafa and at the same time all my souvenirs from Morocco fitted in my suitcases! ; )
It was still dark when I hit the road and there wasn't hardly any traffic so I moved on very fast. On the highway I stopped twice to have an espresso to wake me up completely and watched the sun rising slowly showing the country in all its glory!

Um 8:30
Uhr erreichte ich den Flughafen Casablanca, gab mein Mietauto ab und checkte
mein Gepäck ein. Bis ich mich durch all die administrativen Schalter gerungen
hatte, konnte ich bereits an Bord der Air France, die mit einer halben Stunde
Verspätung um 10:55 Uhr abhob. Wir flogen aber so schnell, dass wir die Zeit
wieder einholten - oder kam es mir nur so vor weil ich mit Michelle aus Los
Angeles eine äusserst interessante Sitznachbarin hatte und die Zeit wie im Flug
verging? Auf jeden Fall planten wir mental eine Reise nach Bali, das sie
bereits sehr gut kennt!
At 8:30 am I reached the airport of Casablanca, returned my rental car and dropped off my baggage. Until I had passed all the administrative desks I could board the Air France machine and we took off with half an hour delay at 10:55 am. We flew this fast that we made up the lost time - or did it only seem to me that the time passed so quickly because I had the utmost interesting Michelle from Los Angeles sitting next to me? Anyhow, we planned mentally a trip together to Bali which she knows very well! (Michelle: I hope you were able to get the connection flights to the U.S.!?)

Die
Umsteigezeit mit etwas mehr als einer Stunde ist perfekt berechnet, denn bis
man mit dem Shuttlebus um den riesigen Flughafen Paris Charles de Gaulle beim
richtigen Terminal angelangt ist, kann man gleich weiter ins nächste Flugzeug
einsteigen... So ging alles sehr schnell und ich landete pünktlich um 16:50 Uhr
in Basel, wo mich meine Tochter Melanie schon erwartete!

The time of a bit more than an hour for changing the aircraft is just
perfect: Until I had been shuttled around the huge airport of Paris Charles de
Gaulle to the next terminal I was able to board my connection flight... So it
all went real fast and I arrived at Basel on time at 4:50 pm where my daughter
Melanie was already awaiting me!
